Eddie O’Sullivan

Currently Head Coach to the USA “Eagles” National Team and former coach to Ireland.
I graduated from the University of Limerick (Thomond College) in 1980 with a degree in Physical Education and Mathematics. While still playing club rugby with Garryowen FC, I took on my first coaching position with Monivea RFC in 1983. At that time I was 25 years old and still ambitious about playing rugby at the highest level possible. But I always knew my long term future would be as a coach. Having been a member of the coaching fraternity for 27 years I have had the pleasure of coaching at all levels of the game from mini-rugby to inetrnational level. The greatest pleasure from coaching is taking a player at any level of the game and helping them to become a more skillful rugby player. It is something I intend to continue to do for as long as possible.
