Get Motivated, Get Better

The Quote

“Competition is the spice of life, but to much spice can make you sick”- Justin Langer (Australian Cricketer)

The Lesson

Competition is a fun way of testing ourselves. We can do this within our training. It helps create intensity and a game feel. We can’t do this all the time, we would simply burn out.

The balance between competitive training and general training is a fine one. If we do manage it correctly it will enhance our performance when it comes to game day. Remember competition in training does not need to be against someone else, we can compete against ourselves by setting little challenges.

The Action

I will add a little spice of competition to my training regime.
