Get Motivated, Get Better (Part 381)

The Quote

“It’s not that all of us have to dedicate our life to our sport, rather, we can dedicate our sport to our life”- Dan Millman (Author)

The Lesson

Rugby should be but a part of our full and well balanced life. Even professional players have to do their best to maintain other interests and fulfil other responsibilities. None of us should become obsessed with playing or training, no matter what our skill and commitment level.

The lessons we do learn from the game can be used to help us face other issues in other areas of our lives. By making Rugby an important but not all-encompassing part of our lives, we can achieve the greatest balance and reap the most rewards.

The Action

Training is important to me, but I must remember to stay balanced, not letting one thing dominate my life.
